Chapter History from 2018 to 2022

    Since the chapter has been going for 2 years, Steve Pfaffle, our current FFA Advisor took over. I had him write up a summary on how he took over the FFA Chapter and how we've grown since then.

    "I started this position August of 2018. Upon that, I was greeted by enthusiastic people in the chapter. Therefore, that made it easier for me to get activities going. I had members continue to tell me that they wanted to be involved with more activities."

    "I had the opportunity to meet members at various fairs before school started and I created some bonds with them. The students and I had the same enthusiasm so we got along right off the bat. The students had a lot of questions and they were all set to have a strong Ag program."

    "In the fall of 2018, we had approximately 18 members. With a lot of recruiting it was easy to get the chapter up to 33 members by the end of the school year. With help from the administration, staff and especially members, we had a goal of 50 members for the fall of 2019. We ended up registering 52 FFA members!!"

    "I’m so excited to be the advisor of Turkey Valley! The kids are involved and have a passion to better themselves. I look forward to continue to grow the chapter and to get more members involved with activities."
